We are now in the 25th year of pantone's colour of the year guides.
And this years colour is peach fuzz.
Whilst it evokes a sense of cosiness and fluffiness, one can't help remembering the restaurants of the 80's and 90's with their peach 'rag rolled' walls that were all the rage at the time or wearing a peach rara skirt or leggings to your mates birthday party.
Putting that aside, whilst it is warm and comforting, Using a yellow or orange hue in a small interior space has as much of a psychological impact as a visual one. This is a cheerful and uplifting colour and perfect for those long winter nights and small claustrophobic spaces.
It also perfectly paired and complimented by forest and sage greens, turquoises and green blue hues.
So where will peach fuzz show up in our homes? It has already seeped its way into fashion . Here's a few examples of how you can eastablish this into your home, be it all out or one off pieces.
